Hiyer!

c.Rebecca Lupton/Factory Int.jpg

I'm a freelance theatre-maker, film-maker, writer, performer, director, producer and HIV activist from Manchester. I was born and raised here and I'm a reet northerner through and through.

I develop, write, enable, produce and create theatre and stories with (and for) people who are unheard or marginalised.

Recent credits include my second play Toxic, Bugchasers: the men who want HIV for Channel 4 digital, my solo show First Time, Donald Bassett in C4 drama It's A Sin, and Creative Producer of the George House Trust and Manchester Pride Candlelit Vigil.

I'm an expert by experience in the art of telling autobiographical stories of health and wellbeing and have appeared extensively across the UK media talking about my experiences of HIV stigma and shame.

My next show A-Hole is scheduled for autumn 2026. My previous shows First Time and Toxic are published by Nick Hern Books and can be purchased in my shop.

I am Artistic Director of Dibby Theatre and Dad to two dogs.
